Ok , how can you not just love this?!  The brightest Behr paint chips this creative cyclist could find make for a spectacular visual.  What better way to set off a grey bike and white seat than with a spinning rainbow of color?!

And how about this?  Check out how many visual similarities are shared between the wheel of the bike and this uncomlicated color wheel.  Despite it’s simplicity, the basic color wheel is a vital tool for designers and colorists who choose color, especially combinations of color, and apply it to products, objects and marketing strategies.  The application of color and specified combinations can definitely make or break the success of a product or project.  Using the color wheel is only one part of the color selection equation.

Handmade Hearts Make Me Happy

Happy Valentine’s Day Eve!  February 14th is the time of year we can all appreciate a little extra love.  And what better way to express your love for color than with handmade Valentines.

Instead of studying for my marketing exam on Saturday I set to work cutting and sewing these little beauties, which are now the centerpiece of our dining room table.  And who said Valentine’s Day hearts could only be pink or red?
